Photo Shoot with Buck Angel
After several years of corresponding, we were finally able to do this long-awaited shoot, thanks in part to the Edmonton Exposure Festival for bringing us together. And truth to tell, the one photo shoot actually turned into three shoots: one at my studio, one in the bathhouse hallways and one of the art installations and then one in the bathhouse showers. All of which you can see here - a testament to how truly photogenic Buck Angel is. In addition to being a great model, Buck became a good friend. There is a distinct possibly that we may collaborate on creating his next calendar. More on that as it develops. One thing is certain in my mind, Buck and I will definitely shoot again.

Imaging Salon with Buck Angel
Buck Angel -- a man that stands out in a crowd!
The Imaging Salon at The ARTery was one of those events presented by the Exposure Festival that was so perfect, so rewarding, so intimate, and so damn much fun. It made me proud to be part of the Festival and secretly I was thrilled that I had suggested this event to the programming committee.
Some of the shots with Buck and Cindy Baker in her adapted mascot costume were hilarious and yet seemed to fit the tone of the afternoon.
